Cannabis Infused Vegan Dark Chocolate

Dark, rich, bittersweet cannabis infused chocolate made with vegan ingredients is one of the most pure and efficient ways to ingest marijuana as an edible. Add some chopped cranberries to sweeten the bars.

 ½ cup infused cocoa butter
 ½ cup cocoa powder
 ⅓ cup real maple syrup
 ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
 Pinch of salt
 Chopped toasted nuts or dried fruit (optional)

Decarboxylate cannabis for 30 minutes for 350 degrees F

Melt to measure out 2 cups of cocoa butter in oil form.

Melt cocoa butter in a double boiler or a glass bowl on top of a small pan with an inch of water (make sure water isn't touching bowl) over medium heat.

When cocoa butter is infused, return to double boiler, add cocoa powder, honey, vanilla and other flavor extracts.

Make sure all ingredients are well incorporated and smooth. Make sure that no water or liquid gets in the chocolate.

Pour the chocolate into molds or onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a glass pan to harden.

Let harden for several hours at room temperature until hardened and remove from molds.

You can also stick in the fridge to harden more quickly.

        The ingredients change things a little, but it should work out, I’d add those ingredients at step 4, temper, then step 5…

        Also paramount crystals can help with tempering, found those on Amazon but not necessary.

        Don’t use soy lecithin, use sunflower lecithin, found on Amazon

        Definitely water cure your weed (I recommend at least a week) to make it taste less like cannabis. Google around for instructions because it’s all over the internet.
