Your Cannabis Infused Lemon/ Lime Bars will bring some serious zest to the party with this tart and sweet recipe.

Crust
 1/2 cup white sugar
 1 teaspoon Zest of 1 lemon and 1 lime
 1 cup cannabutter, softened
 2 cups all-purpose flour
Filling
 2 lemons, juiced
 1 lime, juiced
 4 eggs
 1 1/2 cups white sugar
 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

Preheat oven to 375° F

In a medium bowl combine the zest and 1/2 cup sugar, blend together until glistening. Add the softened cannabutter butter and 2 cups flour, mix with a wooden spoon to form a stiff dough. Press into the bottom of an greased 9x13 inch pan.

Bake for about 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until firm and golden.

Meanwhile juice the lemon and lime.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the remaining 1 1/2 cups sugar and 1/4 cup flour. Whisk in the eggs and lemon juice. Pour over the baked crust.

Bake for about 20 minutes in the still heated oven. The bars will firm up as they cool.

  3. Would i be able to replace the butter in this recipe with oil??
    I’m having trouble finding oil based recipes for lemon bars.

    1. You could infuse vegetable oil with RSO if that’s what you mean. If using a 1/2 cup of cannabis oil you could get a whole army flyin’ high af on one cookie

    1. Did you try freezing them? I’m curious because I want to make a batch but will definitely not be able finish them within a few days lol
