Grind and decarb cannabis in oven set at 250° F for 30 minutes.
Blanche, peel and chop the tomatoes into chunks.
Divide olive oil in half, add half into small oven safe dish. Add decarbed cannabis into small container with oil, cover and place in oven still at 250° F for 1 ½ to 2 hours while preparing marinara.
Add the remaining half of olive oil into large saucepan and add the tomatoes and remaining ingredients and stew and reduce for 1 - 1 ½ hours while oil infuses.
Strain the cannabis from the olive oil into the marinara, reduce heat and stir for 5 minutes until completely combined.
Remove from heat and serve or let cool and store in an airtight container or storage jar.

I made spaghetti sauce with marijuana. I didn’t heat it up to decarboxylate the marijuana. Just ground about 22 grams of trim and added to the sauce. My daughter and I got stoned. Why?
Because you still decarbed partially, while cooking, and nearly an ounce of product where.as a.few grams of bud wouldnhave sufficed.

Can you infuse the sauce itself with decarbed flower while the sauce simmers low?
I don’t see why that wouldn’t work. Infused oil + decarbed flower in the sauvmce to simmer sounds like the way to go to me
I just caught a whiff of weed from someone in my building and thought it would be good in pasta. I’m not trying to get high, just use it as a spice. Googling “marijauna as a spice” isn’t helpful. Any tips?
