By Infused Eats

June 7, 2016

Possibly the easiest cannabis bread recipe which also so happens to include beer as one of the only 5 ingredients. How awesome is this? Only one way to find out, make some Weerd Bread for yourself.

  • Prep: 2 hrs 25 mins
  • Cook: 1 hr
  • Yields: 1 Loaf (8 - 12 slices)

¼ to ½ oz cannabis flowers

½ cup Butter

3 Cups Self-Rising Flour

¼ Cup Sugar

1 (12 0z) can/bottle Beer

1Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (121 degrees C). Grind and Decarboxylate Cannabis, combine with butter in a small oven proof bowl. Cover tightly with foil. Place in oven for 2 hours undisturbed.

2Strain butter through cheesecloth or mesh strainer to remove plant material. Set aside.

3Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Mix the flour and sugar in a medium bowl. (Also add salt and baking powder if using regular flour)

4Slowly mix in the beer until well mixed.

5Use infused butter to well grease your bread pan then pour dough into bread pan. Draw a line through the middle with a knife.

6Pour butter over the dough mixture.

7Bake for 1 hour in oven at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

8Let cool before slicing and serving.

If using regular flour add 3 teaspoons Baking Powder and 1 teaspoon Salt

You can Google the ratio but yes, you can substitute All Purpose flour by adding baking powder and salt to the flour and mixing it in well.

Where I live it is almost impossible to find self-rising flour. Will regular flour work.
