Cannabis Infused Hummus

Sesame seeds, garbanzo beans and cannabis infused olive oil are blended and seasoned into a healthy and delicious middle eastern marijuana melange of Hummus magnificence.

½ cup sesame seeds (toasted)

1 garlic clove, peeled, (toasted)

1 ½ cups cooked, drained garbanzo beans (liquid reserved)

¼ cup + 2 tablespoons garbanzo bean liquid

¼ cup lemon juice

⅓ cup activated cannabis infused olive oil

1 teaspoon ground cumin

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

½ teaspoon kosher salt


1Place sesame seeds and garlic in oven at 325° F for 12 - 15 minutes until toasted lightly brown and fragrant.

2Place toasted sesame seeds and garlic in blender, blend to a paste. Add 2 - 3 tablespoons of infused oil a little at a time until a smooth pourable consistency.

3Place all of the remaining ingredients into blender hopper/ food processor in the order listed, starting with garbanzo beans.

4Pulse blend until desired consistency is achieved.

5Chill, garnish with paprika and more olive oil if desired, serve with pita bread or crackers.
